FountAI, Inc. (“Fount,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at fountai.co and the Fount platform (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information about visitors to our website and users of our Services.

Fount is a business-to-business (“B2B”) platform. Our Services are provided to organizations — primarily insurance carriers, managing general agents (MGAs), and similar businesses — and the individuals who use the Services are employees or authorized representatives of those organizations. 2. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide

We collect information you provide directly when you interact with the Services, including:

  • Contact information — your name, work email address, company name, and job title when you submit a demo request, sign up for an account, or contact us.
  • Account credentials — authentication is handled by our provider, Clerk. We do not store raw passwords.
  • Communications — messages you send us via email or support channels.

b. Information we collect automatically

When you visit our website or use the platform, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information:

  • Usage data — pages and features you interact with, events triggered within the platform, session duration, and navigation paths.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, and device type.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5 for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services
  • Respond to demo requests, inquiries, and support tickets

  • Analytics — Used by Google Analytics and PostHog to measure website and platform usage. Data collected is aggregated or pseudonymous.
  • Marketing — The LinkedIn Insight Tag uses cookies to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns. No personal advertising profiles are built about our users.

You can control or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of the Services.

  • With your organization — if you use Fount through an enterprise account, authorized administrators at your organization may have access to your account information and activity.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as otherwise needed to provide the Services. Usage and analytics data is typically retained for up to 24 months. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access and correction — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct any inaccuracies.
  • Deletion — you may request that we delete your personal information. We will do so within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
  • Opt out of marketing communications — use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or contact us directly.
  • Opt out of analytics — you can use your browser’s privacy controls or the opt-out tools provided by Google Analytics and PostHog.

9. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”):

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, share, or sell about you.
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA rights.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. Authentication infrastructure is managed by Clerk. While we take these precautions seriously, no system is completely secure. If you have concerns about a potential security issue, please contact us immediately at contact@fountai.co.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for business professionals and are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
